The page is split into ‘Greatest Troops’, which is the best members, moderators or owners we have had in our history, ‘Greatest Leaders’ who were key to leading our army to success and ‘Viking Legends’ who have put this army above any other and have been integral to multiple successful years of the Water Vikings
The page first lists all of the Water Viking Legends, and then at the bottom there is a description for each individual outlining why they are on this page.

– Zakster –
Founder and former leader of the Water Vikings. Zakster created the Water Troops, one of the two armies that merged to create the Water Vikings. Recognized as one of the greatest leaders and easily one of the most important figures in Water Vikings history, he led every generation of the Water Vikings until 2014. For a long time, he was considered to be the figurehead of the Water Vikings empire, leading them during the Blue Summer of 2013, in which the Water Vikings reached 2nd in the Top Ten. Even when he isn’t leading, he is a very tactful and helpful adviser and is always there for WV. Outside of the Water Vikings, Zakster is known for his accomplishments as the leader of the Underground Mafias Army and the Nachos, as well as being the seventh acting Chief Executive Officer of CPA Central, and has recently joined Kingfunks4 as WV Hall of Famers who are recognized as CPAC Legends.
– Jed Pen –
Founder and former leader of the Water Vikings. He created the Masked Vikings, one of the two armies that merged to create the Water Vikings. Alongside co-creator Zakster, Jed Pen led the Water Vikings to become the top medium army in early 2011, which was capped off by a close loss against the Light Troops in a SMAC tournament. After the death of the first generation, Jed Pen returned to the Water Vikings in May of 2011, where he inspired the army to change their name to the Pirates. Alongside Zakster, Bepboy9, and Skyfish, Jed led the Pirates into the CPAC Top Ten. Now retired, he often visits to give advice to the current leaders and help out.
– Soccerman179 –
One of the staple troops of the first generation and an important leader in the second generation. Soccerman179 led the Masked Vikings alongside Jed Pen, but was bumped down to 2nd-in-Command after the merge. As a 2nd-in-Command, he sometimes acted as if he was a third leader, quickly proving to be a valuable member of the Water Vikings. He was promoted to Leader late in the first generation. After the death of the first generation, Soccerman179 led the second generation alongside Zakster, and was recognized as a major reason for their success, reaching the CPAC Top Ten for the first time. Now retired, Soccerman179 visits every now and then to check up on the army.
– Bepboy9 –
Bepboy9 was one of the first troops in the Water Vikings, and is now recognized as one of their greatest leaders. After serving the army well through the first two generations, Bepboy9 was awarded leader once the Water Vikings changed their name to the Pirates. After the Pirates died, Bepboy9 became a staple of the Water Vikings army, leading every generation since the third generation in late 2011. He was one of the leaders in the famous trio of late 2012, which led the army into the Blue Summer of 2013. After much success throughout 2013, Bepboy9 led the Water Vikings to success again in 2014-2015, where they held a position inside the Top 5 for 19 weeks straight, even reaching 1st at one point. In the summer of 2015, Bepboy9 led the Water Vikings to the Finals of the Legends Cup VI, where they arguably lost a close and controversial battle against the Rebel Penguin Federation, despite hitting record sizes of 80+. He is the greatest leader the Water Vikings ever had.
– Dashing Snow –
One of the greatest leaders in Water Vikings history. Dashing Snow was recruited into the Water Vikings in November 2012 by Zakster, after the two had worked closely together in the Nachos. Along with Bepboy9, they led the Water Vikings to what at the time was their greatest era. Under Dash, the Water Vikings quickly became a Top Ten regular, instead of an occasional contender like they had been before. He led into the famous Blue Summer of 2013, where the Water Vikings reached 2nd in the Top Ten. He later led the Water Vikings during a stretch where they were inside the Top 5 for 19 weeks straight, even reaching 1st at one point. He is strongly recognized for his influence in the tactical side of the Water Vikings, as well as being able to create a more cohesive atmosphere. Dash is recognized for his accomplishments not just in the Water Vikings, but in the Nachos as well, where he led them to become one of the most powerful armies of 2012.
– Kingfunks4 –
Kingfunks4 is recognized as one of the greatest leaders in Water Vikings history, and currently stands as the only member of the Hall of Fame to be granted the title of Army Legend. He is strongly recognized for his accomplishments in 2013 and 2015, however. Funks first led the Water Vikings in the third generation, and afterwards became a recurring leader throughout the Water Vikings’ history. In 2013, Kingfunks4 merged his army, the Federation, into the Water Vikings, which was recognized as the catalyst for the Blue Summer of 2013, where the Water Vikings reached 2nd in the Top Ten. After a bit, he came back to the Water Vikings in mid-2015, where he contributed heavily to an unprecedented Cinderella run in the Legends Cup VI. Despite an arguable loss to the Rebel Penguin Federation in the finals, the Water Vikings were able to hit record sizes of 80+. Outside of the Water Vikings, Kingfunks4 is recognized for his great achievements as leader of the Army of Club Penguin and the Ice Warriors, as well as serving as Chief Executive Officer of CPA Central twice, once alongside fellow Water Vikings legend, Zakster. In retirement he guided and aided the army and future leaderships to ensure continued success following the 2015 leadership. He is not only one of the best leaders the army has ever had, but one of the best leaders in CP Army History.
– Change –
Change first joined the Water Vikings in March, 2013 as a member. Through sheer devotion and a unique work ethic he quickly ascended up the ranks, and became leader in a record time. The novice leader proved his worth and ability, leading WV into the CP Army Central Top 5 and beyond. Hand in hand with fellow leaders, and legends, Bepboy9, Tylund and Dash, Change led this generation of WV to sizes of 50+, the most they had ever gotten at that time. Disappearing from the community for a few years, tales and whispers of a great leader returning sparked up in 2014. Change finally made his grand return to his home army in 2015, after being trialed as a L.I.T, Change quickly shook off any rust and was appointed leader at the end of Summer. Within weeks of his appointment, WV rose greatly. A part of the leadership that hit 80 at the Legends Cup Final, Change took over the reigns as a main leader, revolutionizing WV’s recruiting efforts. Along with his fellow leaders, Change dramatically defeated the N.D.A in a vicious 5 vs 1 war against WV. Change spear-headed wars and battles against the root of corruption in this community, DCP. Maintaining sizes of nearly 35+ in every battle and single-handedly battling corruption when nobody else would, Change stands among some of the best leaders the Water Vikings has ever had.
– Jack283 –
Jack283 was in the process of rejoining the Ice Warriors during Andrew’s reign. He sensed that Andrew was being unjust and Jack283 searched for just and to return his beloved army, the Ice Warriors. He assisted KingFunks4 in returning and resuming his role as leader of the Ice Warriors in which Jack283 received his rank of 3ic. He worked his way up to 2ic in a short period of time, when IceyFeet returned Andrew to power and then Jack283 followed Kingfunks4 during the mass exodus of the Ice Warriors, in which a large number of troops left to loyally follow KingFunks4 and joined the Water Vikings, sparking the major rise of 2015. Jack283 even being the first one to pawn the name “The Exodus” on the entire event. Following this, Jack283 was given a rank of Leader In Training. He served the Water Vikings that summer, assisting with the major rise until he finally retired just short of the summer ending. He then returned on the 1st of January, taking a roll as 2ic in the Water Viking’s ranks. He always stayed loyal and didn’t care what rank he received, even when other armies offered him ranks such as leader. He quickly moved up the ranks and within 2 weeks he was leading the army alongside Katie. He lead the army like this throughout the whole winter, and never left, showing his activity the whole time as he constantly recruited and made huge efforts to keep the army alive. The army, even reaching 2nd in CPAC at one point, stayed alive for 4 months under Jack283, until he announced he was planning a retirement, and the army, in his absence and Katie’s, fell into inactivity, and was closed down by KingFunks4, ending the golden age. Jack283 then decided to return to the army during the following summer, as once again, a leader. Due to his outstanding efforts of leading the army to 1st in CPAC after just 1 event at the end of the week (they re-opened on a saturday) he was inaugurated into the Greatest Leaders/Troops page to show respect towards him! He continued leading the army, keeping them first on CPAC through the WHOLE summer, disregarding 1 week where Jack283 was on leave and the army came 2nd. Following this, he decided to retire, leading to the activity of the army falling, many troops losing confidence in the army and the army quickly lost motivation. Then, in an attempt to revive the army’s state, Jack283 was given a rank in the Panel Of Godfathers, but to no avail. He wasn’t active enough to play any major part in recruiting, hyping, etc and then KingFunks4 retired and the army was closed down.
– Katie –
Katie was an incredibly loyal owner and leader through some of the most successful generations of the Water Vikings, as she worked her way through the ranks. Katie became leader of the Water Vikings from 2015-16, where she effectively took over from the older leaders such as Buddy, Bepboy, Kingfunks4, Change and others. Largely leading alongside Jack283, Katie was instrumental in the success of the final two generations of the Water Vikings. The army managed to stay relatively active and successful over the winter of 2015/16, for around four months, a time of year not typically successful for the army in the past, reaching the Top 2. The army was temporarily shut down by the Panel of Godfathers, but eventually returned in the summer. In this summer period Katie and Jack managed to lead the Water Vikings to the top spot on the top ten for nearly three consecutive months. In the summer of 2016, the Water Vikings truly cemented their position as one of the greatest armies of all time and Katie was pivotal to the success of the army at this time, due to her drive and commitment towards the success of the Water Vikings.
– Buddy –
Buddy first joined the Water Vikings as a 2ic in August of 2014 when he merged Air Force into WV. Instantly, the army saw a boost in size and became a top-tier CPAC army with the help of the merge. He was quickly made a leader to lead alongside other well-known veterans such as Dashing Snow and Bepboy9. Buddy, alongside the other talented leaders led the Water Vikings to success against armies like SWAT and the Doritos in war, all while managing to stay in the top 5 of the CPAC top ten. Buddy returned to lead the Water Vikings in September of 2015, where he led WV to a victory against the New Dawn Alliance alongside Change, Bepboy and Kingfunks4, in which they consistently reached sizes of 40-50. He returned to the army for a third time to lead in January of 2016 and kept the Water Vikings atop the Top Ten standings until the army’s lockdown in April. In June, the Water Vikings made a return with Buddy leading the force alongside his fellow leaders, where the Water Vikings remained the #1 army on the Top Ten for a majority of the summer and saw peak sizes of 80+ and were consistently hitting sizes of 55-60 throughout the summer. Finally, in May of 2020, Buddy led the army for a last time and reached sizes of 50-55+ as well ask keeping the army in the top 7 on the weekly top 20. Buddy has consistently been known as a strong leader, who is great at handling and mentoring troops as well as his diplomatic skill to make and keep peace with other armies.
– Pjayo –
A man of much to say but needing to say little, Pjayo is often called the most “hardcore” leader of the Water Vikings, often making up his mind quickly and jumping into action. His first tenure took place during the now infamous 2nd Blue Summer of 2014, where he would lead alongside BrassAssDash, Change, Bepboy, and Zakster, bringing WV into a position of almost absolute power. While lacking in the department of recruiting, he is still more than capable on the battlefield, where his analysis of a battle was unparalleled, and has only been honed with time, as, during the revival of this legendary army in May of 2020, he would prove time and time again he is able to adapt to almost every situation, knowing when to preform various tactics and when a formation is needed. This would come to a head when Pjayo lead a war against the Templars, who had been attacking WV’s allies of Marines and the Peoples Imperial Confederation. Thanks to his quick thinking in and out of the battlefield, the Water Vikings would unleash a crushing defeat on the crusaders, which would be a key part in ousting the Templars from the major army league. He would retire once again that July, taking time off to work. However, he would return and come into his own with his return in the latter half of the Eagre Foray, leading WV to a crushing 18-1-6 victory against long time rival SWAT. He would be remembered for his strong will, leadership, and diplomatic abilities, driving the Water Vikings to their highest point yet alongside Change.
– Adden –
Adden joined the Water Vikings in October 2014 at one of the lowest member ranks, not knowing the immense and successful journey he was about to embark on. Quickly, he worked his way up the ranks and achieved leader less than a year later in June 2015. Adden is well known for his phenomenal recruiting skills, undying loyalty to the army as well as his expert management of staff and troops. Throughout his many leadership stints within the army, ranging from summer of 2015 to early 2021, Adden has always been a part of WV’s most successful generations. Throughout his tenure with WV, he has been part of many successful wars such as the 2015 DCP war, the Black Seas war, the Eagre Foray war and the infamous New Dawn Alliance war in 2015, in which the Adden and WV were victorious. To add, Adden was a part of WV’s back to back Legends Cup finals runs in 2015 & 2016. Adden will always be known as one of the strongest leaders to ever grace WV and his legacy will live on forever.
– KingHazard/Jack –
To be added.
– Moses –
Moses106, a very well respected and extraordinary loyal troop, was the first ever troop to join the Water Vikings on December 28th, 2010. He was recruited into the army by the creator of Water Troops and co-creator of the Water Vikings, Zakster. Moses was apart of WV for many generations, serving under many different leaders, some being Zakster, Jed Penn, Bepboy9, Soccerman179 and Dashing Snow. In addition, he without a doubt made a significant impact along the way. During Moses’s long career at the Water Vikings, he has saw them grow exponentially, he has seen them go from sizes of 15+ in the S/M Army category, to sizes of 55+ and breaking the Major top 6 with ease. Moses was promoted to Leader on February 10th, 2021 and contributed to the Water Viking’s CPPS gen.
– Chip –
“ima hire sum1”
– Aaron –
Aaronstone42 led the Water Vikings to glory during the Blue Summer of 2013. This was undoubtedly WV’s most iconic and reminisced era. Even though they were only predominately an S/M army around this time, many grand accomplishments were achieved and renowned Legends were present. Aaron re-emerged during the CPPS era to lead the Vikings once again alongside the likes of Revan, Shinde and Fedd; he was without a doubt the main player in WV’s success during this time.
Charizard was leader of WV on two occasions during their medium days and returned once when WV were in need of help, and helped them rise again but had to retire due to personal problems. Around the time of his retirement WV almost reached major.
Our retired 2ic. Skate was a loyal troop in his time, but overtime became inactive. He caused one of WV’s surges of power, that got us higher. He shall always be remembered.
Sledderboy was a very active troop, ranking himself up from mod to leader rank. He contributed greatly to one of WV’s first rises. He returned many times to become leader and on one occasion 2ic. He is one of the main reasons we are here today. A true legend to WV.
He was first leader when he revived WV with Bepboy9 and they managed to rise to major standards but weren’t too successful. His real shine showed when he became leader of WV during their Summer of 2013 Golden Age and he again showed his amazing leadership skills by helping WV propel in the next generation.
Skyfish helped to form the Pirates, and was one of the reasons they succeeded.
Revived WV in the 3rd Generation, led them to their first major top ten ranking. Greatly respected by leaders and troops alike.
Lead with Twitchy, Zak, and Bepboy during the 3rd Generation and got them their first major ranking.
Lead during the “Blue Summer” era. Was a major reason WV was able to succeed.
Nothing special here, average as it comes.
A war leader, led WV twice, once during the “Blue Summer” and once again during the final stand of WV in 2016. Broke sizes of 60+.
Led WV in 2015 during one of their most successful periods including when they got CPAC 1st for the very first time. Also helped WV win multiple tournaments and was a mastermind in their Secret Service operations.
Tes joined the Water Vikings as part of the great move from the Ice Warriors, following a spell as IW Leader with Kingfunks4. Tes twice led the Water Vikings, during two periods of dominance, showing great leadership.
Thomas was part of the leadership that relaunched the Water Vikings in their first CPPS Army generation. He helped guide the army to sizes of 40-50+, including a run to the Legends Cup Quarter-Finals, and was key figure in stabilising the army.
Fedd first joined and led the Water Vikings during their first CPPS Army generation. He was a vital figure in the new generation’s construction and month-long SWAT War which saw maxes of 50+, showing fervent loyalty and great leadership for many months. He was a key part of WV’s success in the CPPS Era.
Manu first joined the Water Vikings after the rebranding of Golden Guardians in 2020. He was a crucial in guiding the army as a leader through the generations turbulent early stages, which saw WV max sizes of 50+. He was integral in stabilising the army through his relations with troops and was crucial in the generations’ success.

Hall of Shame:
Potassium joined the Water Vikings in August of 2015 under another name which shall remain undisclosed. He remained in the army up until its closure in 2016, and managed to work his way up to Third in Command. On June 1st of 2020, over 4 years after the closure of the Water Vikings, Potassium re-joined for 5ic and worked his way up to second in command, before getting promoted to Leader in November of that year. He played a crucial role in tournaments and wars such as Fright or Fight, The Eagre Foray, March Madness, and the three Golden Seas Wars which all saw sizes of up to 50+.
Our former 3ic, James has stuck with us since the beginning. In the early generations, he worked his way up from mod to nearly leader and was one of the most loyal troops the army had ever seen.
The one who began our career. This past 2ic, now retired, got us our first publicity EVER, shooting us to become larger than we were before. Without him, we would have just been a noob army. He has returned in a few generations, returning to his rank of 2ic. Kooldude247 definitely deserves to be here and is a perfect example of a great troop.
CSY was one of the armies first AUSIA leaders at the rank of 2ic and would be key to setting up this division for future generations. He would go on to earn the title of CP Army Legend in 2020 for his leadership of the Army of CP, and was key to making this army ‘brother allies’ for the Water Vikings.
She ranked her way up to 2ic (highest owner rank at the time). Teigan joined on December of 2014 and retired on May of 2015. Although she has not been a Water Viking for years, she is still considered one of the best troops of that era. Teigan was known to be the most active troops and was nice and friendly with everyone. She was offered the position of leader by Bepboy9 but she refused as she wanted to retire from armies. Teigan is one of the most loyal and active troops ever in the Water Vikings of Club Penguin.
Oregan would join the Water Vikings following the mass movement of owners and troops from the Ice Warriors in 2014, and he would become one of the most important owners in the armies most successful generations in 2014 and 2015. He would go on to achieve the title of CP Army Legend for his leadership of the Ice Warriors in 2020.
Bluey joined the Water Vikings in the new generation in 2020, and would be a part of the Higher Command for the whole time, staying incredibly loyal to the army. Bluey was temporarily leader, but did her best work as 2ic. She was known as one of the kindest people in the army and also at the time broke a recruiting record in a week. Bluey was an incredibly important member of the Higher Command.
Minty joined the new generation of the Water Vikings from the very start and worked up to the rank of 3ic. Despite set backs, Minty would stay loyal to the army throughout despite changes and even a temporary shut down. Minty has never chosen another army over the Water Vikings and is named as a Greatest Troop for her incredible loyalty and commitment.
Starting his journey in Water Vikings during the Blue Summer in 2016 as a leader in training, Zoomey quickly became a notable name in the army. It wasn’t until 2020 that he received leader in the new age of armies and helped grow the army with the help of his fellow leaders in unique ways never seen before.
